  1. i was out saturday Broddcks area 140-210 down 60-70 ft. temp was in the high 40s. we did ok. lost two matures (bummed) but nailed some smaller kings. always fun on the water. however I talked to a friend who is a solid fisherman on Lake O and he was fishing very close to where i was. I asked him how he was doing. he told me he found them in 45-55 ft over 100-110 ft. When I went into that depth, my fishhook read 70 degrees. Is it possible for kings to be swimming in this temp at 730pm? this seems to go against everything i have read and seen and heard. Now its a possibility he could he have meant Browns/coho/steelhead, i never clarified that but I do kings go that warm?

  7. I'm at the Genny. Looking for a boat mechanic that would be able to work on this. It's going into gear. But as I push the controller forward to give it gas nothing happened. . I have heard there are some mechanics that work on the boat in the water in certain situations. Thought I would post this if there is such a guy. 9. Ibay tonight. Went 150-220. Temps between 60-80 feet seemed great. Threw the kitchen sink at them. Had one ripper at 90 ft on a blue dolphin and I was late to the party. He got away. I had high hopes tonight so I'm bummed. Then my shifter on my controller would go into gear but wouldn't give her gas. Good times. So my 9.9 kicker took me 3.5 miles back to the Genny. Some trips are so amazing. Knock offs like crazy. Coppers hitting... Oh well. Next time I think I'm more pissed that my shifter failed. Anyone know a mechanic that travels? I'm sure the boat doesn't need to come out of the water. I'm in the Genny. Sent from my LM-G710VM using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  15. I had a slow morning. Marking very few. Small king on Green FF down 100 over 400. Went shallow and deep. Fleas were really bad. My fishhawk is acting up. Not giving me readings past 60 ft. I don't know what thats all about but I have to get that right asap. My little handheld back up fishhawk did the job but I desperately missed reading the screen. 16. Nice work! I had a different morning. Went to 400 trolled in to 300. Nothing. Green FF, and spoons. Went into 200 trolled out to 300. Nothing. Had a king take the blue dolphin at 80 feet down. Looked like lots of the big boats were in the 200's today. Always great to be out there. Super job with the big King. Sent from my LM-G710VM using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  18. I'm currently running two long lines (copper/lead) off church boards. 2 riggers and 2 dipseys. I am setup to run two more (four total) dipseys. My question is...In what order to I deploy the dipseys. From the outside in? Inside out? Just trying to minimize an unnecessary mess if possible. Thanks for any help. 20. I agree w the church board comment as well. Caught two kings yesterday on that set up. The only thing I would add is get the one that has the yellow release. So much better IMO. These can pull a horse. I love them. So simple. Sent from my LM-G710VM using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  21. Went 300 -450 last night. Braddocks area. 4/10. Long copper off the boards were hot. 3 dipseys as fired. Riggers slow. Nothing on meat. Hit a steelhead on a 4 color with an orange spoon. Green and black spoons took the king's. Water was 48 degrees 100 ft down over 400. My son friend caught his first salmon. Great night. Saw two other boats out. My son lost a monster at the end of the night. Screamer. Gone. That was a bummer. But exciting! Sent from my LM-G710VM using Lake Ontario United mobile app
