  1. Lol. Maybe a book signing out there as well? I'll pull right up!
  2. Hey Les, are you fishing Seneca this weekend? And Canandaigua next? If so, good luck and might see ya out there.
  3. Hmm, should be all of them then. Atlantic salmon don't breed in the finger lakes as far as I know.
  4. Do they clip fins on stocked salmon? Or is that only on lake trout?
  5. Ok, got it. If I get skunked might take the Venmo option to rest up for the rest of the fishing weekend, otherwise I'll be there.
  6. Ok, got it. Thanks Brett. Pay entry fee at weigh in or PayPal/Venmo in advance?
  7. Nick, do we need to launch at Sampson for this or is it ok to launch elsewhere and drive to Sampson for the weigh in?
  8. Thank you for the measurements. I'm looking for a narrower one. I actually bought one last week that I'm now working on getting setup. I'll definetly let other guys I run into who might be looking for one know about this one. Good luck with the sale.
  9. Gotcha, good to know. Thanks. I found this page that answers lots of questions... https://uscgboating.org/recreational-boaters/engine-cut-off-switch-faq.php
  10. Thanks for letting us know. Didn't know about the new cutoff law... may have to get a longer lanyard, kinda hard to fish solo being attached only a foot from the helm. Motorboats Brianna's Law If you were born on or after May 1, 1996 you will need a boating safety certificate. Those born on or after Jan. 1, 1988 will need a boating safety certificate beginning in 2022. Those born on or after Jan. 1, 1983 will need a boating safety certificate beginning in 2023. Those born on or after Jan. 1, 1978 will need a boating safety certificate beginning in 2024. All motor boat operators regardless of age will need a boating safety certificate beginning in 2025.
  11. I guess that's why it's been listed for a month without any takers. Even in today's market, an 8hp motor, used, sells for $1000 - $1500, possibly $1600 on the high end for one with power tilt.
  12. Beautiful motor, but honestly with all due respect, you're asking way too much for it. I know because I bought and sold 2 honda 8hp motors over the past year. Just a heads up so you can get this one sold. Good luck with the sale.
  13. Can you tell me what the length is on these? Thanks
  14. I've never fished this derby, was always out of town, but I think this year I'm in. Looking fwd to it!
  15. Could you possibly tell me the trailer's width in between the tire fenders?
  16. Fingers crossed! It was definetly encouraging seeing it come up from the depths. It hit in my last 5 minutes fishing before I needed to head in.
  17. Thanks Les. Landed 2 lakers, 2 landlocked salmon. Also had about 5 hours of not one hit, in the middle there, haha.
  18. I signed up yesterday too. It's grueling, but I love the marathon weekend. They're out there, this past Sunday I landed a 10 lb 6 oz seneca laker.
  19. Yeah, I don't know how they got that number. And not sure how you got your number either. It's actually 43 billion gallons. I sent them a comment about their incorrect Conesus volume. Thanks for pointing it out.
  20. Bitcoin is so popular at the moment, folks are like... Oh wow cool we get to have a facility in our neighborhood. Ugh, I hate this kind of crap.
