Hey all, in the off season here I plan on replacing some old worn out rods for walleye and salmon.  Most of my boat rods are a mix of older cabelas depthmaster rods and okuma glt.  The eyes keep breaking on the cabelas rods and they are starting to show their age.  I love the grips on the okumas, but even the 8' mediums feel like broom sticks, especially with smaller browns and walleye.  Looking to replace:

four 8' mono board rods

four 8' lead core board rods

two 8'6" rigger rods

two 9' wire diver rods

two 10'6" wire diver rods

Anyone have any suggestions?  Looking hard at the FishUSA rods, but they seem awful pricey.  If they're worth it, they're worth it though. Thanks!

I Love my GLT's. It may be tough to find a rod suitable for Kings that doesn't feel a bit like overkill for walleyes. That's a tough ask for one rod to cover both without feeling either under or over gunned.

I have 2 suggestions

1. Blood Run Fishing trolling Rods

Love these rods. My boat is literally loaded with them. They were designed specifically for what we do and have more of a "custom" rod feel. I would invite you to the boat to check them out.

2. Okuma Coldwater series

I was a huge fan of the Okuma White Diamond series however they discontinued the line. However, when they did that they redesigned the Okuma Coldwater series and now they are by far my favorite Okuma trolling rod series. I tested these last year for Okuma and I actually think these are a step up from the White Diamonds. They have you covered for everything you need.

I think it's a lot of it is how much you want to spend .

Trolling , it's not the rod that hooks the fish . So it really doesn't have to have any finese at all .

I like rods with limber tips and a lot of ass in the butt section .

A mostly or all  E fiberglass rod for durability with good guides .

I got a 4 used 8 ft 6"  Eagle claw starfire rods on here and I like them a lot of30$  . I also bought 2 10 ft dipsy  rods I love also 30 each new .

100$ for 6 rods
