Steelhead die off in the Salmon River

Yep, same as in Alaska. Fish die and tumble downstream and accumulate on the shallow bars.

So what are the game wardens supposed to do , run around with a tape measure ? That's absurd . I've caught many fish in fast shallow water  I could not see . Besides , that's just where the fish settled out after being drifted down , dying or dead , with the current . And by the looks of some of them , they have been dead a while .
