Took the family up to Sodus today for some fun chasing browns. It didn’t disappoint. Caught 11 between 8:30 and 12:30 before we called it because they were cold. Lost five, two of which seemed like very nice fish. One broke the leader after peeling a bunch of line. Found a couple pockets of 43 degree water west of Maxwell that held fish. Most of the action was on spoons but a few on sticks. Purple clown was the hottest spoon.

Maybe a King that broke you off? They've started to show up in the mix. Great to see the kids involved!

I’m heading to Sodus next weekend for my new to me boats maiden voyage! Care to share fow and rigger depths? Thank you!

15 FOW has been on fire. I've been running shallow stickbaits, 75-100" back on 15lb mono..probably running 5-7" deep on average.

Yes 15-25 fow has been the ticket for the past couple of trips. Last Saturday was the best day I have ever had up there. Today was slower but still great . I run big boards with leads 120, 100 & 80 feet back. Riggers 45&55 feet back down 7 to 12 feet. Fifteen pound mono with a 12 pound leader.
