Did you use this for the kicker? What autopilot system did you end up using?

Yes had it on a kicker and I bought a garmin reactor 40 at 3200.00🙄

I'm in the same boat, so to speak. Did you install the Garmin yourself? Who did you purchase the Garmin from?

I got my kit of Amazon as well as a nema 2000 starter kit that you need if you want to use a garmin chart plotter and the ghc50 display.  And I had to buy directly from garmin a Yamaha efi fit kit for my throttle and steering connection.  I have a 2025 Yamaha high thrust tiller and the fit kit is not in the core pack. And yes I installed  myself its not hard if you have some mechanical aptitude.

I did a garmin reactor 40 AP on my boat a couple of years ago. I got mine from West marine and with the GHC50 it was right around $2800.00 (a couple years ago). I had an older non efi merc pro kicker and they didn't have that specific kicker listed for the throttle but a fabricated an OEM bracket and it works perfect. I did the install myself and it took a good 6-8 hours but it was well worth it. i have not had an issue since the install.

Yes the specific fit kit for what it consists of was expensive for a couple brackets.  Wish you could get just the kit you need instead of a hole bunch of ones that will not be used that came in the core pack.  Hopefully I can get enough throttle range out of it it didn't come with throttle linkage to stop tiller linkage backfeeding it.
