Took a little longer to box 12 kings today but had them by noon. Temp was funky, our best water was 225 to 325. 400 copper and divers and riggers down 80 worked best.

That's exactly what we found seven miles to your East. The temps got strange over the last few days - there was a break from 75 to 60 degrees, then it just stayed at 60 forever on the inside. We had to get deeper to find the 47 degree break, and when we did, rods started popping. It was strange to see what looked like the best screen of the year inside, but to experience such a slow bite until we got outside of 220.

This year, with the wind blowing from all different directions and the incessant rain, it seems like the fishing had changed on a daily basis. One other thing I noticed is that we started seeing significant numbers of smaller 2 year old kings in the mix, finally.

I'm sure today will be something different.
