Rod tip repair- Rochester area

Anyone have a recommendation or know of a place I can take a rod to have the end guide replaced? Little more intricate than I trust myself to do. A point in the right direction helps.

Thank you. I’ll pop in there. Wasn’t aware he did that. I know it’s easy enough. I just don’t want to buy cheap components and throw it on there. 
if anyone has replacement tips they’d recommend I’ll gladly take that input as well

I have bought tip tops from him . But I do my own . 

Netcraft or Mudhole has all rod building components . But you need to know the size . 

 

Use to be most tackle shops had a

box of replacement tips. 

 

When I see broken rods in the trash , I grab  them and strip the guides if they are quality for this reason ...

If it’s a copper rod, just throw a twili tip on it.

I just looked on Amazon and they have a tip top kit for 15$ in assorted sizes with glue . 

 

In my experience as long  as the ring inside is aluminum oxide or similar and not metal , they are all pretty good . Metal groves over time .
