ice flow off lake erie to ontario

how is this going to affect the fishing on the bar this year?were planning on the end of the month trip to the bar,wondering if the ice is going to screw us or not this year.

At the LOTSA Seminar, last Thursday it was mentioned that there is still a lot of ice on Erie. They also mentioned that the ice boom has been lifted so the ice should be moving down river. Conditions should be improving as the end of the month approaches. They still caution anyone planning on going out an fishing the bar, if the wind ice right ice can backup into your port and cause a problem when trying to return. Not so much the ice but the debris that collects along with it.
