Looking to make first trip to lake Ontario

Is may better than July? Are the fish usually shallower/Deeper in may or is it the same?

IMO, you can't go wrong either month, the fishing is great in both, but May is when you hear guys talking about 20-30 king days. Watch the fishing reports here, the kings have already starting to show up in front of Olcott and Wilson this past week. May should be tremendous this year.

I'm making a trip up in may for sure. Not sure the day, but i figure it out. My boat isn't that big so i'll have to watch the weather and come up on a whim.
