Michigan Muskie Show

Recommended Posts

I'm thinking of leaving early Saturday morning and driving to the Michigan Muskie Show for the day and returning home Saturday night.Takes about 5 hours each way.Is anyone here interested in splitting the gasoline expense with me to make the trip to the show?

1/2 of the gasoline would be $75.If we left Buffalo at 4:30 am we would be there when the doors open, and left by 4:30 pm we would be back to Buffalo by 10:00 pm. Call me at 716-432-0198 or email me at [email protected] if your interested.

With the aproaching big snow storm I now wonder how many Vendors will cancel going to the Michigan Muskie Show because of driving conditions from the midwest.I will have to make a call Friday night to see how the venue looks before driving out early Saturday morning.

Got up at 2:30 am to get down the road toward the Michigan Muskie Show.Roads were clear all the way to Toledo,Ohio, then it turned to a hard show fall as we got to the Show parking lot.The Michigan Muskie Show was a great venue, the Tuff Shad Booth had to restock the shelves 10 minutes into the show. Many great vendors and also good speaker line up.Got a couple SD Baits to try, kinda like Wileys in 6" jtd, also got some more H2O Cranky X 7" crankbaits in Niagara Walleye & Foil Walleye colors.

Over all we had a great time. I will be helping Greg who runs the Michigan Muskie Show look at the possability of having the 1st International Muskie Show at the Seneca Niagara Casino Events Center the 1st weekend of April 2012.

When we came out of the show to go to the truck to head back home at 6:15 pm there was 8" of fresh snow and more falling. We passed about 40 different incidents of car collision's or cars off the road on the slow in the snow 7 hour ride home,we got back to my house 1:15 am.. But well worth the road trip!

Thanks again larry.
