Fishing Report

LongLine

Launched at 5:30. No one else around. Guess the "Rib Fest" scared them off. Couldn't get a picture of the sunrise as I don't think I saw the sun till about 9:30. (heavy clouds) Flat as a mill pond out there.

Headed toward Russell & can you say "chocolate"? Brown water out to about 80 FT. Low 50's on surface. Put in at about 95 FOW; worked out to 250 FOW then back in, closer to River. Only saw one bait pod & that was in 125 FOW. Did see a few "heavy" marks near bottom over 170. Man where did those flies come from...take your bug spray with you. 49F on surface at 250. 6-8 other boats eventually out there.

Anyways 1 shaker king (clipped) at 45 over 190 on a NK Glo Clown, 25 ft back and a small Rainbow on a DW Dolphin at 25 over 215, also about 25 ft back. Long leads didn't work today.

Pulled them up at 11:30. Water is very high at the river. 6 trailers in the lot. Looks like they're getting ready to start collecting launch fees.

Luck to all.
