Fish Cayuga all the time,headed to Ontario for the 1st time for a overnite fish trip,Wondering what port is more fishin friendly?Either going to Sodus/fairhaven or up to mexico/sandypond.Coming from the ithaca area.Like to catch fish,but for a 1st time up there kinda want easy fishing.Launch wise etc...Place to stay etc...Would be thankful for any input.Thanks

If u fish sodus this weekend expect a zoo. There is a tournament. Fairhaven is nice. If you end up around Mexico be sure to stop in and see Jon at Jones lil salmon shop. He will get u what's hot

Try Port Bay. Which is east of Sodus. Easy launch and a quick trip to the lake.

fair havens easy.

launch at Little sodus inn.

then go in for a pop afterwards.

they have cabin rentals for a great price.

i really like fish fairhaven. very little boat traffic and the fishing has been good.
