Had some time after a family dinner so headed to a local pond to tryout and figure out the new steelhead rod....ended up with 7 bass all over 12" and hooked into a carp that ran me into a tree before i could turn it. The bass seem to love the 4 inch bungee worm with no weight on a #2 hook. :)

Biggest which was maybe 17 incher since the handle on my pole is 21.
