well if ya got exp.with riggers ...no if your just learning then ya got some great tangles ahead of you..start out with 2 .. Driver control is critical with tight riggers. toss in depth of riggers,cross currents,leader length,wind,and turns and ya gots yer hands full..shallow trolling 50ft and above ant to bad with good weather conditions...3 should be plenty 99% of the time 2 outside and swivel 1 to center if yer booms are long enuf...like i said boat control is critical....Id suggest 2 good dypsy setups to spread things out.....if yer totally new to great lakes fishing id suggest
