Leadcore Quick Fix?

I bought a pre-rigged 5 color core and the knot that came on it from lead to flouro leader is too big it takes some shoving to get it through the levelwind part of the reel. Im using daiwa great lakes 47 sealine reel. Should I cut and tie something or just chance it getting caught up there?

I didn't notice the first knot from the braid to lead. That made it through with ease...

cut it and tie a new knot...

All you have to do is put a common screw driver into the line guide pawl and spread the guide apart until the knot slides through. I had to do that with one of my 47's so a swivel could pass through.
