Cayuga 6-28 evening

Kade and I hit the water @ 6:30 and fished til dark. Fished from scout camp north. First fish was a laker on dipsy rod out 180'. It had only been about 15 minutes since we set up, and I think the fleas on the line weighed more than the laker! WOW!!! Picked 3 more lakers on the dipsy rods out 200' and 220', had a couple empty releases on the riggers at 50' and 60'. Ended the day with a real nice salmon on 220' dipsy...except it probably lost a full pound after we removed the 2 lampreys before sending him home to recover. Beautiful evening to be out.

Dang lamprey. Been seeing a fair number of them, got rid of 3 big ones yesterday and another got away as I was netting the fish.
