I Bay Gar frenzy

Found a huge school of gar feeding on the surface today over 30FOW, south of the bridge. I had a blast throwing a jigging Rap trying to land one. Had about five misses, got one in the tail, then hooked one in the corner of the mouth and all hell broke loose. Man, those things go wild when they're hooked. Lots of tail dances and drag screaming runs. Great fun and great day to be on the water.

just got to use a piece of clothes line to hook them. their teeth get caught in it.

reeealy! ... ive caught them as big as 30- 35 inches, seen bigguns surface over 40 inches in montezuma@ mays pt. they do put on a show dont hate! and they are an awsome fish prehistoric lookin lol
