Anyone know what this is?

I bought and assortment of stuff from a guy and their is about 10 of these in one of the tackle boxes. Figured someone on here could pin point it.

Fixed slider release........tighten screw to downrigger cable,  halfhitch rubberband from downrigger line through hole.   Most just halfhitch rubberband right to downrigger cable and put through a snap swivel and downrigger line.    Haven't used one of those in years

That is a snapper stacker rigger release.  They are used for stacking rods or regular rigger releases.  I used to use them on my boat back in the day when we stacked rods.  They work good but you have to double rubberband them and twist the rubberband good or the line slips through the rubberband.
