How do you run the Hot spot agatators?

I have 2 but would like to know the best set up and bait/ lure to try this time of year. Thank you in advance.

Tackleitis I've been Prostaff for Hot Spot for close to 30 years & this is the third year I've been running the Agitators. On one of the outside riggers I run two Agitators off the ball in tandem. What I did was use a 50lb test flurocarbon leader 24" from the ball to the first Agitator & attach the second Agitator 16" behind the first one. Then I run either a 5.5 Apex Popcorn or Rocket 4' above & behind the Agitators. I'll also run an Agitator right off the rod trailing an Apex or a spoon 4 to 5ft behind the Agitator. Agitators will not interfere with the action of any spoon but they aren't designed to trail a fly. My top producer for years was always an 11" Hot Spot Bullfrog flasher & meat but for the past two season the Agitators have been number one.

Cabelas have them and thanks to "Big Dave" Fat Nancy's and All Seasons in Pulaski have them.
