Just got up to the lake. We went to salmon river this morning early and it was slow so my son and i headed here. Gonna do some bass fishing first then troll. Cloudy and chop maybe we'll troll out.

The bass bite seems non existent so far but ill stick it out with my son till walleye time! Its not too nice.

Do you ever fish for trout out there?

Phone died saturday. We made 1 pass around 6 and got 2 catfish 1 that was about 8 lbs and 1 22“ walleye. We made 1 more pass about 8 and fish moved up and closer to shore, and we were too tired to pursue them. I had a great time with cody just hanging out all day from the salmon river to otisco.

We catch tons of small browns to 17 inches, but dont target them. In the spring i lost a big brown and saw a 10 lber caught that same weekend.

Couple tonight in the dark.  20 and 23 inchers.  Both on large Purple/Silver Prism Thunderstick on three color cores.  One bite on a spoon at dusk.  Water is clearing up and thermocline is still at 30 feet or so.
