Raymarine SPX-5R w/P70R C Autopilot

I was considering buying this unit but It appears they are no longer manufactured. Does anyone have any experience with these units? I have a cable steered Islander with no kicker so this looked like a good way to go.

It was the one that I was going to buy - now Im just going to go with the new one they came out with to replace the SPX-5r unit.   It should be the ev-200/P70R/Sport Pilot - model number is T70159. 

 

I talked to Raymarine about the difference and they said the compass is their new technology and the course computer is updated.  The wheel drive is the same between the 2 units.  

 

If you want to go with the SPX5-R, there are a few places that still have them.  All of the cheaper places are sold out though which makes the new unit a lot more tempting.  With a bit of searching Im sure you could still snag the SPX5-R for around $1500 if you want to go that route.
