I've had my very best catches fishing the St Lawrence during the July and August full moon periods this summer and I'm looking forward to the upcoming one in Sept. Not that it's been bad fishing during many different phases throughout the summer.

I agree 100% Kevin. Its not that i dont catch consistently all month with some days better than others. I just find that my VERY BEST fishing tends to be full moon or new moon. I should note I fish harder and all night during those times. Morning fishing is awful for me on full moons. In the salt water i dont go unless its a moon tide period! As i say this im just getting in now and wasnt epic like last night...meager 2 3 pounders, but TONS o smb.
