6am till 2pm,2 men 20 -40 fow.dixie and jigs.5 eyes ,2 smb 2 small perch..the wind did us no favours by blowing 3 different directions..all eyes on dixie..couldnt buy a eye jigging bucktails or sonars....the gobies are starting to become a pain in the arse......and so long 4 now john

Yea, the gobies have been a pain on Oneida. I took my son fishing the other day on the river/onondaga lake and they were out of control.

NYSDEC is going to have to study an eradication method, seems they will overpopulate all our fisheries very soon...............

Just like any other invasive they will explode at first and then taper off. If anything they will help to protect the young walleyes and perch because the gobies are easier to eat.
