short trip for us today. ended the day 1 for 6 (steelie). purple thunder 28, 180' on the wire. beautiful screen 80-100 fow just couldnt get them to go (but from what ive heard its been a decient evening spot). spent the next couple of hours on a NE troll to 360 fow. 4 of the fish came between 200-300'. including a double. purple seemed to bring in the most attention. lots of warm water and pretty uniform temp still. bumpy(well considering how its been lately) and lots of current out past 170'.

Rob- What is your set up like with spoons behind your divers. I've tried it in the past but usually keep flashers/flies and meat behind my divers. I'm particularuly interetsted in the line length between the diver and the spoon and maybe any flash you might put in front of the spoon.

rich,

i typically just run an 8' leader between dipsey and the spoon. alot of the time its usally a spoon that has been firing on the riggers and usually higher in the water column.
