EZ Steer

Anybody know who installs EC steer I’ve screwed with this thing for two years now and I can’t get it to work right I am around Amsterdam New York but I fish Cayuga often I would take it there.

I have had mine for years now . I really don't think the EZ steer set up is 100 percent right to began with , but it dose the job .

Just some tips from the owner's manual (my memory might be a little off);

Make sure the rod is as parallel as possible when in the running position. Your rod should not have more than 4 to 6 lines or marks showing on the inner rod when connected to both motors (the fewer the better).

 

What kind of issues are you having? Pictures would help.

Also, the rod tensioners come factory pre-set, it should take about 27 pounds of force to pull the rod out. Don't grease or oil the rod.
