Hi guys

Wondering if it was possible to fish the Salmon out in the lake if you get tired of Browns at the end of March and April? If so what is a good depth to start looking that time of year? This time of year are SD & Fly's still good choices with spoons mixed in? Thanks for your help

Back when I fished that area by late April you can start getting some kings here and there in as little as 45 fow. that's a god starting point then move out some top the 60 - 80 foot range. Depends on temps, bait activity and clarity of water too.

Fish the mud plume at the Genesee River. If the mud plume stretches down to Ship builders point, fish the green water in 75 fow or less. Usually the mud plume is a couple degrees warmer and draws a fair number of kings. Some years is great and some are horrible. The spring of 2004 we crushed the kings in late April and early May.
