  1. Today
  2. Great walleye chew this morning for two hours out of the Catt before getting blown off the lake. Sticks off boards -same pattern. Had five on at once with the final sixth rod go while clearing the fifth fish from the net. Standard five sheep, five bass, a perch and lost a tail walking brown trout mixed in with the chaos.
  3. This is a reminder that June 15th is the final day to sign up for the LOTSA Main Tournament at the discounted rate of $70. After this date, the registration fee will increase to $90. Please ensure you sign up soon to take advantage of the lower price. The schedule for this year's tournament is as follows: - July 24th: The Curt Tournament - July 25th: The Main LOTSA Tournament - July 24th–25th: The 323 Tournament - July 26th: Reserved as a weather day, if needed. The format for all three tournaments remains the same as in previous years. Tournament Highlights: - Friday FREE Curt Tournament: This year features cash payouts ($400 for 1st, $300 for 2nd, $200 for 3rd, and $150 for Big Fish). A free cookout with drinks will be provided at the Town of Newfane Marina. Additionally, the DEC will be on-site to collect DNA samples from King Salmon to help determine the ratio of wild versus hatchery-raised fish. This data is vital for lake management decisions. - Saturday Salmon Tournament: Participation is limited to 60 boats. With a full field, we will pay out 15 places. This is a "One Salmon" tournament, meaning a single catch could win it all. - The 323 Tournament: Geared toward our more competitive members, this event tracks the best three fish over two days and pays out the top three places. The entry fee is $50 per boat. We would also like to extend a special thank Paul DeAngelo of DeAngelo Fish Art Replicas for donating a free salmon replica mount again this year! The mount is valued at over $800. This prize will be awarded to the member who catches the largest salmon in either the 323 or the Salmon Tournament. We look forward to seeing you there! Tight Lines, Matt Dunn

  11. The thread is about forces in government attempting to pass legislation that will negatively affect our outdoor experiences. Your take on the cleanliness of a pool of water is useless.
  12. We were off around one and never saw more than one to threes ish. Wasn’t bad. Tomorrow looks nice and Sunday looks interesting 😳
  13. How did you guys deal with the small craft warning?
  14. Met a great LOU member today after Big Fish Friday this afternoon at the Oak. He picked up two teenage kings a ten pound brown and an eight pound Atlantic. Thankfully found a couple guys bridge fishing Braddocks that were thrilled to take the two 16lb lakers.
  15. Independent Democrat okay Bernie
  16. Last I checked there are Democrats on the hill contributing to the crap flowing downstream. I am a registered Independent and/or an equal opportunity whiner. I make fun of both sides when needed.
  17. I tried the cell and it didn’t work. I wear lightweight pants that the legs zip off if I want shorts. I never do it because they are really not that warm. They work great. I haven’t worn shorts on the lake for years with these light pants.
  18. I WOLUD LIKE TO PURCHASE THESE
  19. Couldn't open the link I'm sure it's you going TDS I don't know why you got to be so jealous that things are getting cleaned up take some pride in your country 250 years old and it's starting to shine a little bit in Washing DC quit being a Democrat brat
  20. Lots of good ideas here. Whatever you decide, temporarily set in place the downriggers where they will go or at the very least go through the motions of pretending to work them in all there functions. What you don't want is to be leaning uncomfortably toward the back of the boat always to work them, especially in rough water. Position them so they are comfortable to access and work with...Cheers!
  21. I have a Panther steering kit that I paid 20.00 on here, but never used it. If I can still find it, it has a rod that can be bent to the way you want it, but I will ship it to you for 20.00 including the shipping cost. I will never need it as I'm running a Mercruiser with a kicker and use an EZ-steer to steer it. Another thing I suggest is to go to eBay and do a search for an outboard to outboard steering rod or a kit. You can see a lot of options.
  22. Brocraft has aluminum gimbels with downrigger low profile swivel bases already mounted, If you want to look at them, look on Amazon.
  23. You can discuss the pros and cons of fire arms on this site, but the sale and advertisement is illegal
