  7. Yes point 1 AP…. Sounds like it should be an easy fix. Thanks guys
  8. TTT The boat is in the water; buy the boat and keep it docked in Sodus for the summer.
  9. I would think if you have a way to route it there already moving it up high away from everything would be your best bet mine is on my starboard side gunnel all the way in the back.
  10. Is it the Point-1 AP heading sensor? That unit needs to be free and clear of any electrical interference. That is most likely your problem. Relocate the heading sensor and you issue will most likely be resolved.
  11. Puck is on top of the console between the HDS unit and the fish hawk. But it is under the windshield and hard top. Just mounted in front of the steering wheel on the dash
  12. For sale is the last of the Walleye Nation Creation Reapers I have painted up by yours truly. Asking $8 each. All are brand new, in factory packaging. If you want 5 or more, I'll also ship for free. Less than 5, standard $5 to ship through USPS. I at least have 1 of every color shown. Some colors, I have more than 1. 13. Two day Report including Olcott/ Wilson Big Boy Shootout tournament.
  14. Tough BT fishing . Fished hard to get one that squeaked in above the minimum...
  15. Does the west end of the lake (Olcott, Oak Orchard, Wilson) also have lamprey problems?
  16. That would be where I would start. That's alot of electric in a very small area. Your puck is under your consol then?
  17. Well that was on thought I had. It’s mounted next to the Lowrance head unit and the fish hawk unit. Directly below the dash in the cuddy is the computer part of the AP. When we are back to Henderson in 2 weeks I thought of moving the heading sensor outside. Possibly on the roof because I have a spot to go through an old antenna wire ran.
  18. Are you getting any interference where your puck is? The first year I put electric riggers on my boat they interfered and I had to move them up about a foot and never had anymore issues. Mine would do the same thing.
  19. We installed a Lowrance AP on a 24' Thompson the other week. Calibrated with the rudder position and did the 390 degrees turn calibration. It's connected to a Lowrance hds live 12" unit. The heading sensor is mounted on the dash. Day 1 it steered great, day 2 and 3 it would hunt a little then after say a mile or two it will start with a sharp S pattern and get to where it's useless. We turned it off and on and it would continue with the S pattern. Any ideas where to start with it? Thank You
  20. First time out for the year. The Reports for the bar were not good on Friday so we decided to head east in the morning. Set up in 115fow out in front of the power plant trolling east. Picked up a couple but a little slow so we started heading north. Found good temps out deep and put 5 more nice fish in the box. Went 7 for 10 on the day. Our 10 hits were 5 on spoons, 4 on meat and 1 on FF.
  21. I certainly do feel fortunate to have fished Lake O in the 90’s, not only because the fish were much bigger but you also used 12-17lb line and downriggers. It was just simpler and less heavy tackle.
  22. Roll call, who has been out trolling. Been too busy fishing kings on Ontario
  23. 7 Newbies registered by the deadline. Good odds for someone. Good luck. "0" CND entries Captain Pete
