One is a 150 copper the other has braid. 200 a piece and same for shipping 10 for one or both reels. Its easier to call or text me 440 five 22 five 940.
  3. Welcome aboard Wes. Lots of good stuff here. The " Search " feature in the upper right hand corner will cut down on a lot of scrolling. Place a "Wanted" add in the classifieds for those rigger parts. You'll get a lot more looks there for what you are looking for.
  4. 24 years with this girl and never a drip on my shop floor with her…. That’s why it freaked me out when I walked past and saw that
  5. I can't find anything supportive online, and while I obviously appreciate what you're saying, it's tough to go in guns-a-blazing without solid premise. Thanks!
  6. Sometimes I swear my electronics are AI capable and just fuk..ng with me.
  7. All Honda outboards are 4 strokes with the exception of some from the 1960s
  8. Didn’t micro analyze the pictures, took a quick look. Most people would have mentioned that in the description. Nobody’s perfect so maybe just a little bit of an A..hole.
  9. Thanks Whaler 1. Never miss an apple blossom rocky trip. Good fast action.
  10. Something just dropped—-it was my jaw. Phenomenal catch and phenomenal pic—-props to you sir!
  11. Certainly looks like loads of decent sized marks on that screen. Stating the obvious but they look to be fish who weren't hungry. In addition to swapping lures did you change speeds and direction or did the waves make that a challenge. Can't stand those trips when the screen lights up with marks but the rods don't fire. Some of the best days are when few marks and you get surprised as the rods keep firing!! Think positive and get out there this weekend and things will change!
  12. That's a beauty. Did it fight well including the Laker shake??
  13. Went out with a buddy today and left the dock around 9am. Got out to around 100f fow and went north with a decent south wind at our backs. Not much to write home about on the screen so went out to 175 and turned back in. Waves were probably 2-3' going into them and it made it much more challenging keeping speed going back towards shore. There was a group of boats all hanging around 120 fow (+-20') and that's where we found our best looking screens too. We washed lures for about 5 hours trying to catch a silver fish on the marks we could see, but to no avail. Wanting to get the skunk out of the boat, we put down some cowbells and we were grateful for a laker to oblige with getting rid of our stench. Ended up calling it quits around 3:30 with 2 lakers helping us out as the wind was calming down too. What was baffling us is that the screen had tons of small marks on it. Lakers and larger fish on the bottom had good solid arches but there were bunches of these smaller ones anywhere from 20-100 down over 120. We threw just about every spoon we had at them along with some meat and even a jointed rapala. Anyone have any idea what these might be?

  15. Thank you I’ve started looking for 1
  16. to add to that i also have some of the gx2 ugly stiks in 7'6 light action with 20 series reels that are a lot of fun for browns, the only drawback is they are one piece. makes it a pain for storage and travel. '
  17. i have been using ugly stiks for 40 years, from spinning rods to 8'3" and 9'0" for rigger rods and board rods and 10' for divers and copper and weighted steel. (big water series) now i use the newer 9' ml for the riggers (a little more backbone than the light action, but not too much) the only difference i have noticed between the old and new models is the guides. i have never had a failure with any of them. hope this helps. tight lines for your choice on a new one.
  18. red lobster

    Rock bass

Fished Oak Orchard Creek out of Captains Cove at the bridges Wednesday. Headed up creek south/southwest toward Waterport dam. Caught many nice rockies, perch and bluegills. Fishing around downed trees with purple bent wire fuzzy jigs, 11 year old Grandsons homemade flies and trout magnets, all tipped with a piece of worm. For real fun try a cane pole to reach into the tangles where you can't cast. For the gar fisherman there are packs of them cruising all the shorelines. Must be spawning. Never saw so many gar. Some I'd estimate pushing 40 inches.
  19. I have always used 8' or longer ML downrigger rods and never had one that was too stiff for my riggers. a rod you should really check out is the Daiwa GX2 ugly stick med action on these rods are limber enough for riggers. but a light action might be a better option for you but not needed. I just took a quick look on eBay and 1 listing is for 3 light action 9' rods for 95.00 and free shipping.
  20. Do you still have that broken AP14 helm unit by chance?? Need some parts out of one and have been searching the internet for parts. Would be willing to buy it from you..
  21. you will be so much better off with lithium. they run much longer and can be discharged much lower than lead/acid batteries. they do cost more but shop around at places like Amazon before you buy.
  22. have you removed the lower screw and checked to see if any water or milky grease came out? if just lower unit grease comes out close it up and put more grease in to make sure if it's low. I have had outdrives have what looks like the same thing but it turned out to be nothing but exhaust scum and water.
