  4. Hair dryer/heat gun. Peel it off slowly & clean the residue off with WD-40 or acetone.

  9. As it is now with a 19p x 4000wo rpm's it's over propped. That 140 should turn 44-4600 at wide open throttle, trimmed with normal load. To answer your question a 17p will get you in the ball park on the high end & will slow your trolling speed at 650rpms. You should also be able to tweak that carb. down some to 500-550 with no problem & achieve what your after if the 17 doesn't quite get you down to where you want to be.

  14. Whats the reasoning to epoxying the slots? By doing that you have eliminated the second option of using them after a groove has worn by threading them. Actually the original design was meant to clip the slot over the planer line. Small piece of tape over the slot & no problem with mono getting hung in it.

    spark plugs

    Very good advice to heed with a 2-stroke engine. ( especially with an older V-4 omc ) Granted different brands seem to be better when it comes to fouling. BUT always stay with in the recommended manufacturers heat range & recommendations. He's not talking a 4 stroke I/O or inboard engine here. Pistons are by far more expensive than correcting the issue that is causing it.

  24. If the boat (wheel) pulls to port (left) . Rear of the tab should be turned (off-set) to the left to cure or help compensate for it.
