  2. That's what I read too or pm him.
  3. 83 It's probably the old stringer style 800 series. If it is they weren't the best drive to start with & part's are hard to find & expensive. Ck and make sure what it is.
  4. What model drive is it?
  5. As Nick said. With mono there is no need for a snubber. I don't and alot of us don't with wire. Just set your drag's loose and your good ta go. Wire, braid or mono. Snubber is just more in the water to drag and in my view it impairs the lure action.
  6. I read that this morning on line. I was going to address it to Yankee T.
  7. Opps. Sorry. Forgot that part. You do have to unhook the cable to free it up. Glad I could help.
  8. Theres a round rubber plug on the starboard side of the engine cowl. It's right below the carbs. That's the access hole to get to the pin for the shift rod. Hope that helps ya.

Welcome aboard Matthew. Keep us informed of what goes on in the south and what you fish for.
  10. Great job all the way around Chad. I;m not even going to ask how long it took to put that slide show together. Ya even caught Buffy in there. Also thanks for the recognition of all the mods. It takes alot of time and work on your part to make it what it is today.
  11. What model is the Furuno? If it's what i think it is it's one of the best units out there. You could have a weak transducer, or your trying to run them all at the same time. That won't work usually. Give furuno a call and tell them your issues & if you don't have one down load a manual on there site for the model you have. Might save ya alot of $ for a good unit you already have.

  18. Do yourself a favor and put an impeller in it. Check the impeller housing as well. If it's in question replace it. If your running it in freezing weather when you pull it out make sure to lower the engine asap & turn it over a few times (not start) to clear any water out of the pump. If you have any problem's with it pm me.
