  1. Depth Raider all the way. Great unit, easy to install, and priced right not to speak of the customer support if you do have a problem.
  2. Contact FX on this board aswell for having a mount done as well.

  6. I guess all the full time charter captans out of here should come to your class or ride with you to get lessons. Sound's like ya kn what your doin.
  7. Now that you have that solved. If you keep running it at 44 hundred for 25 minutets wide open, you'll be replacing an engine next.
  8. MyKey: It was Troy Creasy. Boat name is High Adventure. He's a good man as you are for helping out.

Ck all the bellow's for heat when it happen's. As in the one that comes off the the elbow and below going thru the transom for abnormal heat. Did you aline the engine when you put the coupler in and put a pump impeller in it when you had the drive off.?

Sounds like coupler to me' If not was it over heating before you started trolling?

  12. LMFAO Your too much bub. But it does sound like the ol man is havin a good time.
  13. Not a problem Shane. Just glad you and the family had a good vacation. Was good to meet you, the wife and your son. By the way tell her the kitten has been adopted to a good home and the Tasmanian Devil ( the white one that was going to do serious damage ta me) is resting peacefully on my couch. Neet little sh*t. Never kn it was the same one.
  14. J-F Thank you for translating the post and excuse the rude comments above. Good bunch of guy's here for the most part. But there sense of humor get's carried away sometimes. How's the fishing up there?
  15. Your right. About 2' clean going on the spool will do it.
  16. If I had to guess with out looking at it the points are oxidized as was stated above. Not so sure about the nail file deal. But that would work too if she uses them. Run a piece of fine emery or sand paper thu them when the are closed, and it will probably take care of it, or replace the point's. It's a common problem after setting over the winter.
  17. 88 Give me a call if your coming up and I'll let you kn what's going on. Saw ya over there Sunday & was going to walk over but the next time I looked I didn't see anyone around the boat.
  18. Foodsaver is a great unit and bags are relatively inexpensive an easy to come by. (Wal-Mart etc.) One word of advice tho. It you buy one off E-Bay altho you can get some good deal's on new one's there. Foodsaver will not honor there warranty on there product with a receipt from the seller from E-Bay. It has to be bought from one of there recognized retailers. I had a problem with one of the new one's I bought off there. Sent the warranty card in and all, and they wouldn't take care of it. Great unit's tho. Have several I've bought for family, friends and myself and they work great.
  19. Um must have been switched out before. Most were an in-line glass type holder.
  20. Vibration from the engine usually causes it with the standard glass fuse. It's a common problem. Replace it with a waterproof blade type fuse holder or put a 30 amp breaker in place of it. Why did you loose your d. r. because of that? Should of been hooked direct.
  21. I have one here used. Not sure if it's ok or not as I run a depth raider but I'll have a friend test it on his boat. If your interested let me kn.
