  1. Nice reports guys. Mike, did Kurt bring some Venison Jerky or did he use the excuse his dog ate it!
  2. Beano!
  3. Sorry for the loss in your family. I too have a 10 year old lab and he is showing his signs of age.
  4. Look at the spots on the tail. KING KING KING. No way is it a coho.
  5. Looks king to me. Another way to tell is by the anal fin.
  6. It changes hourly. What answer you get will be different by the morning.
  7. Canvas Concepts off of Manitou Rd. Look him up in the phone book.
  8. Or just go offshore and stay away from everyone! Some days it is just easier and less stressful.
  9. Fish them like you would in the summer with small spoons along the bottom in the zone where the thermalcline intersects the bottom. They will be there until the lake cools down. Once that happens you fish them like you would in the spring with plainerboards and sticks / spoons.
  10. Sounds interesting Rick. If Sandy was included, I would more than likely join.
  11. I have been running the same backing and mine is 5 season old with no issues. I would ditch the rubberbands and go with Scotty Power Grip plainer releases.
  12. Looks like they took another "week off"! Better get some new hands for some of their recievers!
  13. 65 degrees with an upwelling in the lake will bring in the first big push.
  14. 7 sets of cowbells for sale. 5 Hammerheads and 1 Luhr Jenson. One of the Hammerhead sets is the vertical blades that go on the rigger cable. $30.00 for the lot. You pay shipping or local pick up.
  15. Wow. I would think the more eyes the better. I guess you must learn what a water spout looks like in captains school.
  16. The bay and lake have to cool down some before they come in. Most years it is mid september. This year I would bet it is going to be a couple weeks late.
  17. Nice shooting Shawn. That is one nice looking coho.
  18. It is the 2nd biggest Laker weighed in to the LOC, biggest laker ever weighed in the Orleans County Rotary Derby and the only trout to ever win the Orleans County Rotary Derby. If you guys think lake trout smell bad after sitting in the cooler for a day, you should smell one that has sat in a cooler for a day, then frozen, then thawed for another day. I do not think the smell will ever come out of my cooler!
  19. Thanks Carl. We normally target Lakers mid day after the king bite during the LOC and Orleans but we never thought in a million years we would boat a laker over 30lbs.
  20. I agree with Carl. Lots of water was left alone for 2 reasons 1) the gas prices and 2) the inside bite was more consistant this year than most.
  21. I recall some senseless chatter from him in the past.... : . We will see if the Giants can beat the Redskins this season. Last year they had a little trouble!
