  1. Buy beeds. Less hassle and work just as good. Buy some egg sacks and mash them up. Dip the beed in the juice for scent.
  2. Once you get more spoons, you will not own that boat. You will need more room in the boat to store tackle not for more fishing room and better in rough water!
  3. X4 all the way. The other units are nice but the X4 IMO is the best. Here is a list of reasons why: Works to 300' without skipping a beat No coated cable - Coated cable gets worn and needs replacing - $$$$ It can be used on ANY rigger on the boat Smaller probe Sealed electronics Awesome battery life Digital display Does not skip like the old 840 and 800 Does not need an antenna that will need to be upgraded or replace Does not require a wet paper towel for operation The one downfall of the X4 is you will have to drill 4 holes in the transom of your boat. Some people have issues with this.
  4. Only 20? Slacker!
  5. I dumped 250 last year and I still have too many.
  6. Happy Birthday Hank!
  7. Ding ding ding. We have a winner.
  8. If you need some Scott, my son perfers markers so I have some just laying around!
  9. There is a pizza place in Hamlin that will deliver to the marina John.
  10. Asking for a better scorebaord is not asking for much. A simple excel spread sheet on the computer will not cost anything (since the pro division is already on computer). It takes a couple miuntes to set up.
  11. No but the minor league stadiums have seats, luxury boxes, food vendors, cost a lot less to enter, and the players are not premaddonnas like you have in the majors. You are not treated (as a fan) like a second rate group of fans. If they already use the computer for the pros, there is no excuse why they can not make another spread sheet on excel and use it for the Open. It is just pure lazyness. If you want to draw people to enter the pro ams, treat the stepping stone well. If people get a bad taste in there mouth at the stepping stone level, they are sure as heck not going to make the splash to go to the Pro Division.
  12. Nice reports guys. Mike, did Kurt bring some Venison Jerky or did he use the excuse his dog ate it!
  13. Beano!
  14. Sorry for the loss in your family. I too have a 10 year old lab and he is showing his signs of age.
  15. Look at the spots on the tail. KING KING KING. No way is it a coho.
  16. Looks king to me. Another way to tell is by the anal fin.
  17. It changes hourly. What answer you get will be different by the morning.
  18. Canvas Concepts off of Manitou Rd. Look him up in the phone book.
  19. Or just go offshore and stay away from everyone! Some days it is just easier and less stressful.
  20. Fish them like you would in the summer with small spoons along the bottom in the zone where the thermalcline intersects the bottom. They will be there until the lake cools down. Once that happens you fish them like you would in the spring with plainerboards and sticks / spoons.
  21. Sounds interesting Rick. If Sandy was included, I would more than likely join.
