  1. The hills of Wyoming County were ringing. My brothers in arms made me proud. Made a bit of noise myself. Next step is to get all those who aren't registered to vote registered. Carry registration forms in your truck. All sporting goods shops should also have a supply of voter registration forms. CH4 in Buffalo just stated and estimated 250,00 participants today.

  3. Any other deals on salties down there? Looks like you made out very well!
  4. Geesh, I got a Lowrance X15 sittin in a box in the garage. Used to run fine about 5 years ago. No room in the boat for it now.
  5. Dave's in Derby 716-947-5990, off Rt5 on the right hand side(he's in a small plaza), OR Webers 716-549-3426 further down Rt5. You have to go past Sturgeon Point Rd a mile or two and look for the lighthouse on the left hand side of the road.
  6. Any copper content in that Advantech wich would contraindicate install in an aluminum hull? I will be doing the deck in an 18' Bluefin soon.
  7. Pinion in stock for my '67 not sure if it will fit yours. http://www.marineengine.com/newparts/part_search.php?part_num=311189&submit=Go
  8. I've had excellent results with this site: http://www.marineengine.com/parts/parts.php Needed a fuel filter housing for my '67 6hp Johnson and had it in a few days. Didn't think I'd ever be able to replace the cracked housing cover but they had it in stock. Good luck with your search.
  9. No 25's but I'm lookin' at a 20 on the wall right now that my son caught about 5 years ago out of the Oak. He'd have been in LOC money if we weren't 2 weeks late (mid-sept).
  10. 8 years! Dang, I need a honda!
  11. I plan on being there. What should I bring? Side cutters? Waders? Band-aids?
  12. Looking for a replacement handle for a Daiwa accudepth 47LC. This one that is in 2 pieces must have gotten bounced around on the deck one too many times.
  13. No Northerns today but we did see a few dozen 6#+ 'eyes. Nothing up at the steel dam, water way to low, probably 12" down. Saw the walleyes along the concrete walkway flow and more at the bubbler (overflow) hole. If you read the board at the beginning of the walkway, information states that it has been intentionally drawn down to defeat purple loosestrife which was choking up the swamp. Didn't take a rod so we didn't look for bullheads. Water at the state launch is low, no docks(floating) in. We don't fish Conesus much anymore, concentrate on Erie and O.

  15. "Seething mad". Describes me very well. Still contemplating a hunting license boycott for this fall. It would be the first time in 45 years, excepting military service, that I would not hunt in ny (intentional lower case). I believe a judge did not grant an injunction today(?). Thanks for the update Fx

  17. Why didn't biden disclose the fact that he also has secret service protecting the "balcony".
  18. Great rally with my brothers and sisters in arms yesterday. As I told all who couldn't go "I'll go for you". Met with Dave DiPietro who took about 20 of us to the floor of the assembly for introduction. My guess of crowd estimation is somewhere between 10-15K but that is my poor approximation. What is next? Support the split ny legislation? Boycott hunting license? I know that will raise hackles. I know the 2nd is not about killing deer and will cripple DEC. But what else can we do? Write, call, volunteer and attend rallies? Tim, you advise to "remain focused", but when I'm seeing red it's tough. When is the "line in the sand" crossed? We will all have to determine that for ourselves. KUDOS to the Remington Arms employees who attended and a salute to all who attended and were there in spirit. Please remember that these are our Constitutional Rights that are being infringed. AR's today, 870's tomorrow? You make the call. http://www.wben.com/A-WBEN-Photo-Album-The-Gun-Rally-Express/15679793#0
  19. Is this the same clown who proposed mandatory "pet insurance" a few years ago? If so, he's gotta be in cahoots with the insurance industry.
