    Does anyone think this is a "bone" he's throwing to the sportsmen/women? Think he's trying to "cozy up" after his infringement on or 2nd rights? I will not be buying any hunting licences this year. I'll go to PA or pick road kill. See you in albany on thursday.

    My seat is reserved on the Erie County SCOPE bus. My son-in-law and as many others as I can talk to will also be coming. The rally in Buffalo last saturday was very good. Dave DiPietro made me proud that my vote here in ny is not always cast in vain. cuomo's popularity is tanking. Will this BS emotional, kneejerk legislation be ammended or will we live as outlaws? Anyone ever read the late Gene Hill in field and stream's last page? Many years ago he did a piece regarding having to bury his shotguns. I will find and re-read. Many guys at work are calling for a hunting license boycott. Thoughts?

    Rut is on here in Wyoming County. Killed a nice 9pt today. Seems he didn't care I was 5 yards away he just wanted that doe. Crazy afternoon. I'd post a pic if I knew how.

    I keep them full with stabil tx. Both boats are now at 1/2 tank and I'm just waiting for prices to fall (?) then will top off. Trying startron this year.

    Skip, last time I was at the rez, the kid pumping said E-10, no stickers on the pump. Also one of my co-workers saw E-10 stickers on pumps at another gas station that apparently didn't have E-10 in the past. The idea of burning corn (food) must have come from the brightest minds in the eco-community. What are we going to do when this administration forces E-85 on us?

    Easy pickin' in the garden, they just lay all out. Bit harder with slowing reflexes in the grass. Beer and bait fridge in the garage keeps them happy.

    Mark, we did pretty good on the perch last wendesday out of Sturgeon. 62 FOW approx 4 mi N of Evans bar. Some Jumbos to 13" with peewees mixed in. We fished 1630-2300hrs. Went to Evans bar at dusk and never moved a rod in shallow for eyes. I figure they're out deep now and maybe post-spawn? We will be out daytime eye fishing next weekend.

    I happen to have a box full of NK blanks, most are 28's and mags but I know there are quite a few C5's. No hooks or split rings. Some all silver, some gold, some painted. I think "five of diamonds" tape is available at some of the tackle shops, Narby's might have it. PM me if you're interested.

    Skip, I've been topping off at the Totem Pole on Ledge Rd. at the Rez. They always say "no ethanol" when I ask. Mileage in the hemi is better and of course the price on tobacco products easily beats that on the street. Here's a link, might be old: http://www.pure-gas.org/index.jsp?stateprov=NY

    How'd that alternator/regulator kit job go? I've been keeping a close eye on my old water cooled regulator. I clean ALL terminals at the start of every season but will go the alternator kit at first sign of failure. I think it's the better cost effective option.

    Earl, save me a 12" blade. I'll see you at the camp this summer after July 4 as we fish 'eyes on Erie until then. Might be parked next to Leo if it's still open this year.

    Rbuck, I have the same set up in a '88 3.7 merc. I think it's easier/cheaper to convert to an alternator set up. Check this link: http://www.breezeworks.net/
