  2. Thank you and congratulations to your team. Despite the conditions, we had a fun weekend.
  3. Atommik. Thanks for giving info. on the Scotty. Pics are great. Thank you.
  4. Big Fish Friday. We had 1 hit and it was a 22lb king...not good enough. However, we had good marks West of the River. The fish took a white spin doctor/white fly in 180 fow down 120. The Rigger fired, no hits on dipseys. It was a tough day on the water...the waves pounded us. Saturday. Went to our marks from Friday, the fish were more active today. 3 Kings, 1 Atlantic, 1 Brown, and 1 Laker. Each King weighed 27 lbs and change. Again we were in 180 - 200 Fow. These fish came on our dipseys anywhere between 180 and 250 back. Gator Spinny and fly, White Spinny and white fly and Die Hard spinny and fly were what the fish wanted. No Riggers fired today. During the weigh-in, we got to see a 35 lb and some change King get weighed, boy was that one long, big fish. And guess what, they were not in the LOC. Bummer. It was a tough day on the water...the waves pounded us again. At Days end, we were in 14th. Sunday. Again went west of the river. 4 Kings boated with an average weight of 25 lbs each. Same exact patterns as Saturday, except we had two riggers fire down 80 and 120. Same length on dipseys. The weather was miserable today, wind and rain. At weigh-in, we jumped to 6th place. We couldn't believe it....how amazing. Here are the four fish from today.
  5. Have any of you that are registered receive information via email from Yvan? I tried emailing him via the KOL address, but the email came back undeliverable. Haven't called him yet, just thought email was easier at this point. Thanks, Ray
  6. Guess it depends upon manufacturer....I run them how they come. Could always try with and without and see how it goes.
  7. I have had similar issues with my lowrance....my gps not responding issue was the cable from the unit to the module. Everytime I turn on the unit, I wonder what I am going to get. Ugh! Ray

  9. I have an electronic service manual for GM V-8 engines which covers my '89 Thompson 240. Check your pm.
  10. When the engine is spinning faster, is the temperature (of engine) getting hotter? Hopefully, it is just a prop issue and not a coupler issue.
  11. Here is one.... https://www.adventuremarine.net/product ... &do=detail
  12. You have a PM. Ray
  13. Agree with what has been said so far. I love the trollmaster....perfect throttle control at helm and easy to install.
  14. Walleymagic. I have the same boat and just put on a 2010 yamaha 9.9 high thrust four stroke motor two weeks ago. I have been only able to troll 2 times with it and so far it has been great. Easily pushes the boat and only sips the fuel. So, my recommendation is the yamaha 9.9 high thrust. Ray
  15. I am also thinking about the Humminbird 778 c Sonar....Cabelas has it for $500. Hope someone chimes in. Ray
  16. greengillscott....I will do that and take a look. Ray
  17. When I use Rapalas, I use the Rapala knot. Don't know if it helps though. Ray
  18. What is the width of the holder piece? Ray
  19. Hookedup. Thanks for showing the troll master in the garmin handheld ram mount...have been wondering how I am going to mount it, problem solved. I will be doing this in two weeks, when my kicker arrives. Ray
  20. I am using Shipyard Marina too. My motor is the T9.9GPXH and is on order. Very competitive pricing. Here is the link... http://shipyardisland.com/YamahaSpecials-T8.htm If you decide the four stroke route and if you have a fuel water seperator on your boat, then you can connect your fuel line to it. Most seperators have 2 inlets and 2 outlets. Good luck with the decision. Ray
