If any of you Lou-ers have some collecting dust in your basement , id be interested..... Paint pattern does not matter.....Thanks....Matt Sent from my SM-T550 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

The bite out deeper was decent.... Meat off a 300 took 2 big guys. Lost 2 bigger fish on a meazels / green Crinkle off a 212 diver. The best rig for me today was a mag carbon 14 in 45 degree water......went 4x. Sent from my VS987 using Lake Ontario United mobile app -
Thank you everyone for the kind words.... The outpouring of interest in this event has been humbling to say the least. Meeting new folks, and catching up with old friends was my reward. I think this event may be the up and coming "regular Joe" tournaments on the lake. Just to keep this momentum going , I've already started on plans for next year. There will be a few changes coming ( small things) but my hopes are for the basic format for Friday and Saturday to continue. So stay tuned for updates and announcements... See ya June 30 2018! Tight lines guys..... Sent from my VS987 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Back story for the big fish award.... Back in the mid 90s, I met a lot of hard core charter captains. Back then, there was no LOU, chat rooms, and very few seminars. Short of waterboarding, getting tips or info from Captains was all but impossible. Luckily for me, I was able to enter the "circle of trust". One Captain in particular went out of his way to help me out. Captain John McCabe. John ran a Blue and White Baha named Desperado. Sadly, John passed away at a relatively young age of cancer. As a tribute to a Rochester Captain, good guy, and hard core tournament competitor....The John McCabe Big Salmon Award. See everyone Saturday Sent from my VS987 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
