  1. Rob...rob....rob.....who taught you how to hold a fish for a picture? The stream fisherman grip with riggers in the background doesn't seem right...lol. Seriously brother , great job on the mud sharks....
  2. Yup....the most under-estimated port on the lake. Great post as always Bruce. As you know, we had a similar fall. The salmon run was better than expected and what more can be said about the offshore action.....it was very " Delectable". .......lol....ole Miss comes out on Wend. I'm planning on being in with you in March for some early spring BT action.....keep in touch bro...we have some Bambis and waterfowl to murder this fall......
  3. Awesome story......thank god those guys and the pooch are alive.
  4. Yea man.....I love the Tiaras. Awesome rigs. I've had the Baha since new in 1994 and she is all ive ever wanted or needed. If I was ever to change things up, Tiaras will be at the top of the list.
  5. Ray your exactly right....hank is a great guy....Happy Birthday Brother Hank.....

  7. Q.....I'm still waiting for that pheasant hunt invite............great job with the kids
  8. Stan....Alot of our cops up here have gone to the AR15 style rifles instead of shotguns. I think after the bank robbery in LA a bunch of years ago, a bunch of departments went to tachtical rifles and a tactical rifle certification in the academys. On the flip side, I think things are going the other way alos...there is alot of less lethal stuff like Tazers and Bean bag 12 gague Rounds.....Maybe Capt. Pete can add somthing I missed......
  9. I have one of those foreschner blades and tamer sheath.....that thing cuts through a king like .....butttaaah! I call it the Jason vorhees....lmao. [ Post made via Android ]
  10. Totally agree with scott....those Yeck mags...especially the Obama....were very good for us....now it seems all they want is 28 sized.... When I ran into a pod of fish that had skippies, I threw out those giant mags and caught more quality fish than throw backs. Good luck and tight lines..... [ Post made via Android ]
  11. ...Oh.....too bad not in the Orleans derby...Would have brought home some cash.....Nice fish Mark D

  19. Ray.....I must admit I was a little apprehensive about going, but I've been to some rough areas of Mexico and Venezuela before. I think going to a family resort area should be fine. I by no means will have my guard down.....
  20. Thanks for the advise.....I've fished the keys, Venezuela, and Cabo San Lucas. I can't wait....been a couple of years since I've had a bill on.....
  21. Has anyone been to Playa De Carmen - Rivera Maya? I'm going next April and I want to Nail down some Bill fish charters. Couple of years ago I went to Cabo San Lucas and got a nice screw job by a "outfitter" I booked through online so I'm looking for any decent Captain referrals for Playa De Carmen. Thanks Guys.......
  22. Here's to a guy got qualified in the service on the musket.....Was an Oar man for George Washington when he crossed the Delaware....And lent his boat Key to Ben Franklin for the kite....... A man that old has seen it all.... Happy Birthday Buddy......
  23. I use lighter weights when fishing in shallow water such as the spring. in the summer and early fall there are times you may need to get your lures down to 80 plus feet. Thats when heavier weights come into play...they reduce blowback from trolling and get a more accurate depth reading on the down rigger counter...........
