  1. Nice buck Ray....Beagle just won't git off the trail will he...he sure is a good flusher...bet ya could git a fortune fer him down south... ya need a bigger dish washer?
  2. The banjo is leanin on the tree. Played it fer the deer thats in the pic there. One string (g) and BOING.....sound of that he just layed down and died.. guess I can't play too good....Ok I'll git the beer cans collected up but I gotta git 200 more than I got so I'll see if there is more around corning somewheres...rumour has it , I might find a treasure pile...If only you could give me the GPS data....somethin tells me it's near yer canine lodge..then I can become a professional basher too
  3. Hey Ray, that Cabelas big game is a great video game, Huh...Ok at least there is a trophy room...let's see it,...
  4. I'm glad to see you got a respectable buck, as in bowhunting and everyone mentions here it is a thrill to be that close to any deer be it doe or young buck, which eats better anyway, horns are nice but if you hunt for hours upon hours and see little or no horns like I do then after a couple of years of that you can be satisfied that you made a great shot as well as picked a good stand and everything came together to provide the perfect ending to a great hunt and that is recovering the deer and enjoying the fruits of your labor. That being said, now I will let you all know I did my part to rid the woods of the inferior horn genes, once again. A good snack for a main course later.... Mark
  5. Don't worry about Ray pickin' on ya too much, after all he still can devote some of his time bashin' on me behind my back cause I havn't joined the ranks of PROFESSIONAL yet,,,,, I say YET, just you wait Ray, when I get my first 20 dollars from this hobby truckin,,, I'll be there. Good luck with the recovery Bob, See ya out there some time soon bud. Mark
  6. Got Scottys now....elecric..GREAT..had Proos manuals...they are Great too...actually still have proos but on the work bench right now for 14ft alumacraft application.
  7. Okuma blue diamond rods...replacing everything else with them...excellent quality for the money mark
  8. That oughta fill up yer lakes ,Stan Dont tell Ray about fishin in the rain, he likes to wear holy rain coats, specially durin tournys, never could figure why he even bothered, what with the buffy mode and all he uses.
  9. Ray said he had scuba gear.....thats how he finds his fish and reads messages on the bottom of the boats in tournaments...
  10. It was just a scenario....I realy drive the truck that delivers the tackle and most importantly your favorite magazines and fishing products catalogues like Cabellas and Victoria Secret (fish net stuff ya know)....but it's just the same....I turn the key off at 250,000 AND TAKE A THREE MONTH VACATION without pay, not to mention the roads will go to pot without the taxes from trucks, wonder if any body thought of the full effect of this domino effect. Shelves going empty, less production,,,,,the sky is falling, and some think that the trains run straight to the store
  11. I own the business that manufactures your fishing equipment..my CPA told me to lock the doors and stop production and send everyone on the floor home before I work for,, oops .....like Ray said ....no politics,,, You get the picture...now wheres the koolaid...anybody got marshmallows for the cume bye ya..campfire :?: GEESE back to the 80's we might go
  12. Be afraid "Ray the Plumber"....You make too much money,, and ya won't be able to buy more fishin equipment...and ya might have ta move in with me and my neighbors with their houses on blocks and spare tires on the roof!
  13. My prayers to you LOU brother Bob. May Heaven and Earth move to ease your loss of a good friend....a moment of silence for him....a lifetime of memories are your gift my friend. Mark
  14. Nice pics Stan, love those northern Cal views. I'm out here near ya sorta....been in the office in Merced...now I'm in the office in Reno...will be in Milwaukee office Wed. then Ohio and Buffalo, Rochester, and back home to Lyntucky...YIPEEEEE. Can't wait ta play the banjo fer the white tails... thats the four legged kind just in case Ray is near... but maybe he's not partial considerin his fun lovin' with the stripers from NJ....that's STRIPers not STRIPPers ...Ray!
  15. Ray looks as if he's watchin' that freghter like maybe the captain used to be a blowboat cpt'n and thinks he should reel in a couple hundred feet of copper before it gets keel hauled.
  16. Looks like the striper is warming up to Ray cause he's wearin that "Free to Lay" shirt. LOL
  17. Take lots of pictures of Ray, although it's not a lot of work in photo shop in getting them to look funny LOL, I'll help with th funny lookin part....Hmmmm...maybe a fresh batch of Lyntucky tea would help...sure makes everthang look funny after drinkin it....that big ethanol plant down in Med Ina won't miss a jug or two...Stan from Calif said it were gooood. specially wit da banjo music! and th bait he caught fer dinner. Don't let Ray eat no herring baits though, cause it will cause pickled chum...now that migh be a picture... GOOD LUCK fishtails and crew....be safe ...catch the bigguns fer us! Mark
  18. Some time ago I posted a concern for the fisheries in all the Lakes ...citing the collapse in lake Huron.... this is just another invasive that has shown up along with others...It's a real concern that needs a solution NOW... the economic impact will resonate deeply around the great lakes....Yes we are all concerned but what we need to do is find the right agencies in the marine biology sectors to find out what to do. I for one don't know where to start but am willing to fight for a solution any way I can. Mark
  19. I just looked at the stock market fiqures.... DON'T LOOK....people might start bailing out the windows like 1929...it's just disturbing...some bailout idea...and the stupid ceo crooks of wall street went to a spa for a feel good party with OUR money... Are you on your way?
  20. A question...what sepatates the pro and am divisions?....is it the entry fee and payout structure?...or is it a requirement of the captain and crew as in charter or for hire profesionals?....Just trying to make sense of the reason for $500 entry versus $100 entry...I wasn't aware there was a differece in the entry fee for the two divisions...$500 WHEW!...$100 is fashonable with me and my Lyntuckians...optional largest fish of the day for each day would be a good toss in for an extra $100. Thanks, Mark
  21. Finding an observer was not a problem.....UNTIL they found out they would have to go on another strange boat with who knows who....I can relate to that as I would feel the same if a friend asked me to go in the tournament and then be put in the barrel to be picked up by someone else. It's just a comfort thing and if you never went in a tournament like this it is a little disconcerting to learn your getting separated....so I believe in the idea to remove the requirement for the observer and I like Gill-t's idea of a rep from the other teams to do a cooler check...keep up the discusion because I think this WILL lead to a lot more entries in the tournament and please try to keep the entry fees in this galaxy...thanks Mark
  22. that 545 and others are all OUR employees...we put em there...they work for US!...WE should make the decisions.... THEY should only offer ideas....this system needs some tweaking....can we do another Boston tea party
  23. Wow Stan, when you tell us on the east coast about home prices dropping and gas at $3.49 gal......I think New York has just become the California of the east......nothing drops here.....that's why NY is the excelsior state.....meaning ever upwards, like taxes, gas and diesel, electric and heat...what a privelidge to live here  If it weren't for the great fishing and hunting here it would be hard to justify the poor management we get from Albany, HEY....maybe Arnold could come here on loan and clean up the bad guys...and tell the rest of them to straighten up or..."A'll be bock". Gas $3.73-$3.79 depends on the geography Heating with oil should be sickening this winter when temps go to -10 and might reach a balmy 30 for the next 5 months. diesel in my 18 wheeler is costing up to $900 a fill up....every other day :x Hang on Stan....we will do our best over here to keep the lights on, I know the good folks on the west coast will do the same, and we will meet in the middle as a country united once more to wake up DC
  24. Heck, the Ausies have got a problem with the greenies tryin' ta take away thier compound bows...even
