  1. Spoke to my wife about this, unfortunately the first time by he will probably get off Scott free because of the word donation and the good Samaritan law. But once he uses his "get out of jail free card" , he will probably stop. Ignorance protects idiots. Even us educated people know ignorance is no excuse.
  2. My wife and I eat eeel in sushi or over rice. We also get smoked eel from "seaweeder" from the Lou board, straight from the Delaware river to his smoker and then our table. I would definitely try lamprey pie.
  3. Contact Dave From R&R Spoons.. www.mytacklebox.com he has the blanks and will probably paint you whatever colors you want. Tell him John sent you.
  4. Only an inch or two on the hills in Binghamton, nothing in the Valley. As of noon almost all gone.
  5. I run them similar to Jason, I also run them clean off copper and if I do run them behind a flasher I will lengthen the leader. They are a versatile fly.
  6. Looks to be just a rain event for us in Binghamton.
  7. Aaron, go big or go home! I put off the new boat for a few years with the purchase of our camp on the lake. I thought boats were bottomless pits for money, now I know cottages are just as bad. See you on lake hopefully soon if the lake comes up another 15 inches.
  8. No these are multi axis. They adjust up and down as well as left to right. I have numerous multi set rod holders like you have as well. Take a look on big jons website.
  9. Looking at upgrading my rod holders. Can anybody offer opinions on the new multi axis rod holders from big Jon?
  10. Good luck, you definitely deserve a few trips with no aggregation.
  11. Please read the article on Hydrilla in Cayuga lake and do your part help prevent the spread. We all know how much of a pain in the A** weeds are to trolling. Lets do our part to prevent the spread of another invasive species. www.wbng.com/news/local/Calling-All-Boa ... 76445.html
  12. Gotta love that autopilot! I was up at the camp today and I still need a lot more water to put the boat in. Good to see a few guys are getting out.
  13. I have a bunch of jr thundersticks. Let me know what colors your looking for?
  14. I have been working with Scott on this. All I can say is it could be huge!
  15. Great job, last time I saw you guys I was loaning you tools at the marina's launch. You definitely worked the bugs out!
  16. 300,400,500&600 copper and the otter boards to get them out away from the boat. Cores 2 to 10. R&R Barney spoon and pink alewife. MI stinger Rosemary's baby. White and green SD's and Protrolls And of coarse the secret weapon that always puts the boat on fish. My wife!
  17. Hal, glad the autopilot worked , you will not want to fish with out it. I think my wife would probably divorce me if I removed it and made her drive.
  18. Long point is ok for that size boat if your careful. If your not too tall taughannock is also passable. Although I swung into treman today on the way home from our camp and it looked okay at the launch but you will kick up mud. I would launch my 23ft boat there and putt out with the kicker, but I tend to push the envelope on things.
  19. Start off around 2.2 down speed and go from there. I have done well between 2 and 2.8 during the summer, just depends what the fish want. Make sure the lures you are fishing are speed tolerant as you change your speeds. Follow LB88 suggestion on playing with your leads, sometimes the stealthier you run the more fish in the boat. Sometimes long leads is the key. And some times the SWR puts fish on the line when most others are being dragged behind the boat.
  20. We have it on the calendar. Is it possible to get us the contact info for a transit slip for the weekend?
  21. If everything goes right I will be attending. Not sure if I am flying solo or the wife may join me for some financial control?
  22. I only fish wire with roller rods. Much smoother through the eyes, I would never switch to a twilli. I ordered two ukuma blue diamond as well to compare them my heartlands.
