  1. I'm sure we passed each other but I don't recall now. I'm normally on 68 too, 16' Deep V Tracker, tan with 6 rods across the front.
  2. Yup took me awhile to get going on Saturday too but I finally got them to stick. 200' copper was the big producer the last three days for me. I actually picked up my second landlocked today. It came on the same cheater spoon as Sunday but this time I doubled up with a laker on the main spoon, 1st time ever for me. Ricbme - what's your boat look like? I'm sure we passed each other.
  3. 5/29/10 - Fished the west branch of Keuka, on the water by 6am. I had a bad case of the dropsy's. Dropped 2 fish on the divers, big weenie cornbread with green dolphin spin dr, 240 out on #2 setting. Dropped another on a diver, A-Tom-Mik hammer with white green dot spin dr, 280 out on #2 setting. Switched over to riggers with the same fly/flasher combination. Dropped fish on each fly again. Ended up finding fish on the north end of the lake in 60 fow water. Finally got 3 lakers to the net with 200' copper with big weenie cornbread and green dolphin spin dr. Picked up 1 more laker on a downrigger, 50 down with a carmel dolphin spin dr. and carmel dolphin big weenie vibrating fly. Back on short at 10am. 5/30/2010 - On the water by 5:30am. After finding a good amount of fish and bait in the north end on Sunday I headed right back to my way-points. Picked up 6 lakers on 200' copper with green dolphin spin dr. and cornbread big weenie fly. Boated 1 landlocked on a fixed cheater, 50' down on a small mixed veggies spoon. It was my first Keuka landlocked since 2006! Back at the dock by 10am. No huge fish either day just typical Keuka lakers. Back at it tomorrow.
  4. Green dolphin spin doctor and cornbread.
  5. Mark, Shoot I forgot about posting...thanks for the reminder. Boated 2 lakers on wire dipsy diver, spin dr's and flies. Divers were on a #2 setting, out 200' and 240'. Couldn't get anything going on riggers and spoons. Most of the fish were down deep, 130' and 140' down. I didn't fish too long, I had some stuff to do with the kids and home. What does your boat look like? I was going to give you a call on 68 but I was sure where you were. Mike
  6. Mark, Where on Keuka were you? I will be out tomorrow morning, launching from the state park around 5:30am.
  7. Me too. One for spoons and one for stickbaits.
  8. 711skwerlz - there is a launch in Penn Yan for the east side. It is a free launch for now. There has been talk for a few years to start charging non village residents. It is a good launch but it does get busy on weekends. There is a launch at Keuka Lake State Park and another launch (no docks) across from the firehouse in Branchport. I've never launched there but I have seen some decent sized boats launch there but I would guess it may get shallow if the water levels are low. I stick to the west side of the lake so I don't have any good spots for the east side.
  9. I'm normally launching from the state park, I may go as far as the bluff a few times a year but predominately stay on the west branch. I run 15 pound sharks. On Sunday the fish were in the middle of the lake, down 100' and deeper. I haven't seen any fish up high yet.
  10. Thanks guys, they were decent size for Keuka. Dave - I will be looking out for you. Good luck on Friday. I'm hoping to be out Sunday morning for a few hours.
  11. Launched from the state park about 7am on Monday. I only had a few hours to fish, with no bites on spoons I quickly switched over to flasher and fly of the downriggers. All fish were middle of the lake, down 100' all the way to bottom in 160' FOW. Hot combos were big weenie blue dolphin fly/blue dolphin sp dr and big weenie cornbread/white with green dot sp dr. I was off the water by 9am, ending the day 5 for 8 on lakers. Riggers were set around 100' and 125'. Two lakers I lost when I was doubled up and another came off mid fight.
  12. LMAO, Paul that is great, you hit the nail on the head with the fly names! My wife ordered me a bunch of Big Weenie flies for Christmas. She had them delivered to her work address. She had to forewarn her employee going to the post office that there will be a package from Big Weenie for her.
  13. East side of Keuka still has ice on the lake, west side of the lake is ice free.
  14. All four single Offshore releases sold. Still have the Offshore stacker releases and Roemer releases.
  15. Only the four Offshore stacker releases are left Four Offshore medium tension stacker downrigger release. All are used lightly and in fine working order. $8.00 each or all four for $20.00. Buyer to pickup or we can work out the shipping price.
  16. Awesome game. They put on a clinic. I too turned down tickets, what was I thinking.
  17. I've had luck right there in front of Severne but never at this time of year. Just north of Long Point too. Chowder and I got into the salmon on the south end in November. Good luck!
  18. Yup they work. I use the mountain dew holo grease trap then a vibrating big weenie fly. I use it on Seneca and Keuka.
  19. They probably phrase it better than me...
  20. I went with the belt type inflatable from Bass Pro. It is a manual inflate meaning I need to pull the cord before the belt will inflate. I'm still thinking about getting the suspender type inflatable PFD that automatically inflates. I leave the flares in the package by my seat. I do cut the package open in the event that I need to use them.
