  1. They have their moments. The white w/glow works well in low light. I fish an 8" white w/glow meat head clean a lot and it works well. 11" Green Hornet can be deadly at times even during the day time. Currently they are not my go to attractors but they are in the rotation. Season of 2018 the Green Hornet took fish all year and was in the starting line up almost everyday. Last season it shined during staging.
  2. The Chinooks now have a softer edge as they tumble them from my understanding. Been running them exclusively last 3 seasons. Not one break off on the leader. (probably shouldn't have said that ) We run 12lb floro for browns, 20lb floro with spoons for Kings and 40 when running attractors. Wire when the fleas are present. Braid spring & fall. We also use a modified version for longer leads as described in another post as opposed to running the slide divers. The Chinooks simply have a much easier retrieve. The Luhr Jenson certainly are tried and true though!
  3. I did....Thats why I said it was both, you must have clicked the link but not read the response I posted below the link
  4. https://oswegocountytoday.com/mayor-barlow-announces-start-of-construction-for-wrights-landing-marina-improvements/news/oswego/ Its actually both, 1.6 for the Boater improvement project and 12.6 for the REDI projects
  5. Just curious where did you see it was a 12.5 million dollar project? I remember reading about 1.6
  6. Here is end article from Fish Doctor on "Sushi Flys".....link below I fished with a guide in Ketchikan years ago that baited all his flys, small strips for the scent. http://blog.fishdoctorcharters.com/?p=777
  7. This may help https://seagrant.sunysb.edu/glsportfish/pdfs/SalmonTrout-LakeOntario2012.pdf
  8. Thanks Chowdaire I saw that one and its is real close, I will probably order a couple. I think the one I have is a custom job, have no idea where I got it. Maybe somebody left it on the boat.
  9. It doesn't have the DW stamp in it. Thought Silver Streak but same thing no stamp. Thinking a Warrior but couldn't find a pattern match, maybe its a custom?
  10. Panther steering bar. Also as said above fuel/water separator is the way to go. Old boat had a T fitting with check valves, it worked fine but went with the separator on the new boat
  11. What motor is the main? is it hydraulic steering?
  12. Sorry to confuse. Im not using an electric trolling motor on the new boat. Im using actual Autopilot (Raymarine) for the main steering. But yes many guys do use electric for steering & kicker for propulsion its just not as good on rough days
  13. I had a tiller on that boat with a tie bar and a Trollmaster. Worked fine. New boat has controls but I steer with my AP & throttle with iPilot.
  14. On mine I was able to access the ares for the bolts through the rear storage compartment door, yours may be different. I also had to relocate the u-bolt for the tie down strap as it was right where the motor hung.
  15. The Cisco's don't have end caps on the rod holders as they are machined with a soft edge so they are not necessary.
  16. Les, You have the start of a business here! Time to file a DBA or LLC "Les's Boat detailing, leader making, plastic dipping, hook sharpening, flare checking & lure organization company"
  17. Next after Frogger, my boat is in the driveway. Cleaning supplies are in the shed
