  1. asking price has been reduced by 1200.00 in the past two weeks
  2. Prior to the collapse of OMC and the bankruptcy, a lot of the paint was available through NAPA stores. I have seen the decals as reproduction items on EBAY.
  3. I think it falls under the category of if you are not eating it everyday, it should be fine. I look at all the grape vineyards around here that go from full foliage to looking like winter when they spray the grapes in June and that doesn't stop anyone from buying grape juice or drinking a lot of wine for example.

  5. 2001 Chevy Blazer 4x4 2 dr 111,000 miles, auto, power locks/windows, AM/FM CD, cruise, tilt, push button 4x4, air, power sunroof(works fine), power drivers seat, LS trim. Good rubber on all four tires. NEW RADIATOR JUST INSTALLED JAN 2013(have receipt). Replaced fuel lines July 2013. New rear brakes August 2013. Air works great, four wheel drive works great. Issues/concerns: ABS light on, air bag light on. Will pass inspection with those on. Body was in poor shape, I did some patch repairs last fall. Rear hatch window opens, tailgate needs some help. Passenger door needs new hinge pins which I have. For someone looking for good basic transportation or to use on the farm/hunting or winter, this may be a consideration. There is a lot of life left in it. It has moderate miles for the year(have seen much higher miles with much higher asking price). The body just has serious rust issues. Can provide any other pictures you may want. Vehicle is in Dunkirk NY which is halfway between Erie PA and Buffalo NY. Master cylinder replaced October 2013 and some brake lines replaced. Price reduced to $1250.00 or best offer. Inspection done Oct 2013
  6. Move to the top, significant price reduction 3/3/12-$2950.00
  7. as a new boat owner, a couple tips. Aluminum boats do not have gelcoat, as stated above, auto paint is fine or you can look on this page below for the gentleman who re-did the Crestliner last winter for tips, plus there are a few others. If it is not too far gone, wax may bring it back enough, try a small section and see.
  8. Sold 4/6/13 2000 GMC Sonoma Stepside regular cab 2wd. 2.2 liter 4 cyl, auto transmission, SLS package, bench seat, cruise control, tilt wheel, AM-FM, air conditioning(which worked well last summer). Good snow tires(4) mounted on aluminum rims. Receiver trailer hitch. 106,000 miles. Truck gets between 20-24 mpg so is fuel efficient. Full brake job done at 98,000, rotors, pads, drums service, axle seals etc( have receipt) Good truck for someone looking for reliable transportation. This will tow a 19 Sea Nymph or equivalent anywhere you want to go-easily. Asking $2950.00 or best offer Now for the additional information-I have a complete southern bed for this, with tailgate and rear bumper so if someone was buying to restore, that could be part of sale negotiations. Rear fenders on the truck now are rusted. Also have four other summer tires and another bed tarp and frame which is near new. Only reason for sale is purchase of a full size step side. Truck is in Dunkirk, NY
  9. I would be 99% sure that the club's insurance will not cover an event that has guns on the property. This is not a new issue that just appeared due to the recent tragedies. Had an outdoor shop i owned a while back(now almost a decade), insurance coverage was much less if you excluded a rider to cover guns and ammo.
  10. A moderate north east wind on Sunday 12/9 exposed a lot of rocks, reefs etc on the eastern basin of Lake Erie. I saw things that I have never seen in the 50 years I have been around. Keep hoping for a lot of rain or snow this winter. At least they got a start in the upper basin in the past couple days which helps the cause.
  11. sold 10/26/12 Selling pair of Big Jon Captains Pak Electric Downriggers w/ swivel bases $650.00 or best offer. These were originally bought as a group of four and these two have spent most of their life in the basement. May have been used 10 hours. Located in Dunkirk NY but can get them to Buffalo/Hamburg thruway exit if necessary.
  12. All these crazies running around looking for metal to turn in to get their fix. Spring and fall in a marina are worse for thefts because no one is around after hours, not like mid summer when someone is on a boat or around.
  13. Good fall/winter project or winter fishing boat.
  14. The 21 islander hull goes back to the 1960's. The 22 and later the 26 came off the deeper V5 hull that Starcraft introduced in the late 70's and appeared as a 14 Holiday, 18 Super Sport and Holiday, 19 Islander, 22 Mariner, Super Sport, Holiday, Islander, and eventually became a 26 Islander in the early 80's. The 21 Islander is a similar hull to the 18, 21, and 22 Sylvan offshore, as both company's were closely related in the 1960's and early 70's and are now again a boat group, Starcraft-Sylvan-Smokercraft.
  15. This one is a 21, it had the lower windshield. The 22 is the one with the side windows, the higher windshield, etc. it is based on the old V5 hull which is deeper and wider. They are two different hulls.
