  1. I'm sorry to hear that your friend passed away.  Did he live on Westside Drive near Pixley Road in Gates?

  2. This bail reform has to change. There have been cases of criminals dragging people out of their cars, stealing the car, getting into a police chase, crashing the car and given an appearance ticket. Out of state felons committing felonies and given appearance tickets to who never show up in court. Talk to anyone who works in the prison system and they will tell you about the prisoners who have been released that should not have been. Cuomo was bragging last year how New York was the safest state in the country because it had the lowest amount of prisoners in state prisons. That's because he released a lot of them. The Safe Act. The way he snuck that in overnight. What has that done to cut crime. Our crime is worst now that it has ever been.
  3. Great job Bill. I nick named you the "One man wrecking crew" when we were watching you lifting those docks in the water at Tommy's a few years back. God had you in the right place at the right time.
  4. If anyone has any used Bert's rod holders they want to sell that are in decent shape, please let me know. I will travel to Buffalo/Niagara Falls, Oswego/Syracuse or southern tier of New York.
  5. Should you tell the observers raspberry filled jelly doughnuts are a nice treat on the boat?
  6. That is GREAT. I will glad to have him show me next spring. I've never had a boat like this.
  7. Thanks Keith. I've never owned a hot tub before. Hey, maybe with some gorilla tape I might be able to patch her up. Tommy, how about we set it up at the marina?
  8. As some of you guys know, I bought the "Mr. Breeze" boat this past weekend. I'm not going to put her in until next spring. I heard there is also a large tractor tire buried in the mud in the middle of the creek just North of Tommy's. The last thing I want to do is hit one of these objects. I have a 14' aluminum boat, a couple of come a-longs and a large grappling hook. The 14' boat with oars would be a lot easier to maneuver in the creek than a large fishing boat. I'm retired and free anytime, I just need some help getting those things out of the creek. Let me know if you want to get together and spend a couple hours to get these things out of the way so no one else hits them.
  9. I watched a guys trailer go off the ramp at Irondequoit a few days ago.
  10. Chinook 35, What a great article. Very informative and interesting. Thanks for sharing.
  11. Chuck, I am so sorry to hear about Mike. Brian is right when he says Sandy Creek will never be the same. Anytime I ever saw Mike whether it be the Sandy docks, Niagara Show or a weigh in, he always had a smile on his face. He will be greatly missed. My wife and I had been praying every night for him when we found out about him having Covid. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sad time.
  12. Don't feel so bad. First time for me in over 30 years empty handed.
  13. Eli and Easton, Congratulations to both of you guys. That smile says it all. NICE JOB. Stop in the store sometime.
  14. You guys did great. It's nice to see the kids out there fishing too. To many kids sitting at home playing video games and on their cell phones.
  15. Congratulations. That's one huge king for this time of the year. You would have won the LOC.. How fast were you guys trolling if you don't mind me asking.
  16. It means we can start fishing tournaments and derbies again.
  17. I don't fish it enough. Only once in a great while and it is right in my back yard. I'm either going to Sandy, the Oak, Braddock's or the finger lakes. Unfortunately things are going to be different for me and the kid this year. My 17 year old loves bass fishing so we are going to be hitting the canal a lot. Is it safe to eat the fish out of there?
  18. The canal is directly 1/8 mile behind my house through a woods. Looks like I'm going to be fishing out of the canal a lot this summer.
  19. I went both days and I agree great information. Nice prizes and picked up some good tips. A lot of good information shared. Thanks Dan, Rob and Lucas.
