  1. Hey Pauly, It's a good thing you didn't show us those pictures at the seminar. With all the cabin fever going on, we all would have been drooling at our tables. Jim
  2. Matt, What time is the meeting and what is their address? Thanks, Jim
  3. Matt, Congratulations to you and your family. What a wonderful Christmas gift. God Bless. Jim
  4. I can't wait. I look forward to this weekend every year. I end up buying a ton of tackle both new and used. It's a great time seeing old friends and making new ones and gets you excited for the spring time to get here and get out on the lake.
  5. Hey Paul, I just booked at the same hotel. I'll bring a loaf of Libby's homemade banana bread for snacks. I know you wouldn't let me bring it on the boat. Jim
  6. Patriot, I have been wanting to get one of these for a long time. Thank you for the heads up. My wife just ordered me the X4D through Paypal. If you are the LOTSA show, introduce yourself so I can buy you lunch. No more having to rely on cable hum, cable angle, rod angle and thumper rod bounce. I'm moving up in the world with the big boys now. Jim
  7. Always remember this throughout life, "There is no pillow so soft as a clean conscience".
  8. I think that is a great idea. Give us the date and time. I'm coming from Brockport so if anyone in Brockport, Bergen or Spencerport wants to car pool let me know. Jim
  9. To those who never made an attempt to vote, don't complain when you see the things that this guy is going to do to us gun owners. To those of us who voted for Astorino, all I can say is," we tried".
  10. Eat a lot of garlic and bananas. It keeps em away
  11. I thought with you being one of the instructors, he would definitely go. If he doesn't show we'll have to bring him some banana chips for his boat for snacks for next season.
  12. Rod, Don't wait till the last minute because it's going to fill up. For what you would spend for the price of three large pizzas, you could go to the LOTSA school. What a deal. It's a great time. It helps break up the winter. You get to see a lot of old friends and make new ones. You're going to learn new tips and tactics that you can use. "The key to fishing success is knowledge" Buck Perry For the price, you get a goody bag, a great lunch and you are automatically enrolled as a LOTSA member. There is going to be deals on new and used tackle. Like they say, you can never have enough tackle. JUST DO IT.
  13. Rod, Are you going? I signed up as soon as it was posted. Jim
  14. Two years ago I won an Okuma four piece rod and a center pin reel and I have never used them. They are both brand new and I haven't bought line for the reel yet. Between ice fishing and rabbit hunting in the winter, I don't think I need another hobby to get into. I have spent so much money on salmon tackle, boat equipment and trolling gear and everything else, I don't need another expense. My wife has no idea how much money I have tied up in fishing.
  15. If it keeps the scumbags from breaking into vehicles in the parking lot while we are out in the lake, I like seeing them there. The ramp is quite a distance from the parking lot and there have been vehicles broken into in the past.
  16. Happy Birthday Hank and thanks for taking care of Old Glory (StarCraft). She runs great. Jim
  17. Paul, Congratulations. I bet no one had bananas on the boat. See you in January at the show. Jim
  18. I have one of those older deep Mirrocraft 14 foot aluminum boats that I have wanted to give it a try in February for browns out in front of the Oak. This might be the year. That's got to be cold out there cruising the shoreline in an open metal boat.
  19. Tom, Congratulations to you and to Stephanie on her big brown, you two deserve it and thanks for everything you do for the fishery. Thanks again for all the fun at the Oak last month. If I ever get out to the Oswego area, I'll be sure to bring the raspberry jelly doughnuts. Take care, Jim
  20. You have to admit, we did get hook ups after sharpening the hooks. And we ate good too.
  21. I told Tom, Steph, Eric and Holly the story of my first time observing and how you spent about 1,300.00 bucks not including food and lodging. When I told them about the look on your face and how your jaw dropped when I pulled out that big banana at the end of the day, they just about pissed their pants laughing. All in all, we had a lot of fun. I think we all gained a few pounds those two days. They were a great crew.
  22. I was an observer on A-TOM-MIK's boat. What a great crew. We had a lot of laughs on the boat and at the weigh in's and I learned a lot from Tom and the crew. It was two days of fun, learning, excitement and anticipation. Next time I'll bring more raspberry doughnuts and the pizzelle's. When I observe, we eat good.
