  1. looks like mayby oswego will be ready this wknd but like glen says prolly 2 weeks for mexico unless we get a good west wind to break it up quicker.....i'll check it after work wed or thurs and let ya know about the progress......i'm hoping to be out this wknd
  2. bob the new riverside ( used to be the log cabin a few yrs back ) should be able to accomodate you
  3. i run my 1 400' copper right out the shute.....works good for me..... any time i'm in enough water to run it all out i run it....either flasher/fly or meat rig

  7. break wall in oswego is a good bet pier at selkirk gets fished alot with good success shoot me a PM before you come down IF the timing is right and i have my boat out you will be welcome aboard for a day of fishing on the weekend as work keeps getting in the way

  9. early may it is good up along the sand flats from salmon river to stony creek ( henderson) stony creek launch is a good bet sandy pond is an option on rough days plus ok ( not great ) access to the lake channel can get pretty shallow at times launch at the salmon river also ( pine grove) or lighthouse marina

  11. from the salmon river access...( port ontario) to oswego launch ( wrights marina ) is only 20-25 mins by auto so even if ya dont like the looks of the lake you can go to oswego and fish the harbor another thought is to get in contact with a couple guys from this site in the area that mayby you could fish with

  16. spring pike fishing is good anywhere from henderson harbor to chaumont bay rapala # 18 firetiger // blue silver // black gold various spoons
  17. oswego harbor is a good place to start in the spring sand flats from salmon river north to henderson black river bay is good in spring spring classic is the hendeson derby...4-days usually 3rd weekend in may

  19. spring browns can be readily caught by flatlining depending on water clarity any where from 50 to 250' behing the boat a set of inline planer boards can easily add a couple more lines to your arsenal spoons can range from black/silver to watermelon..... same with stickbaits......again depending on the day being sunny or overcast 10 lb mono will serve you fine until FLEA season also check the ....open seat//trade a trip section to hook up with other guys from your area if your on the east end of the lake send me a PM and we will go sometime

  23. check into these ATOMIK challenge in oswego LIL SALMON RIVER challenge in mexico bay FAIR HAVEN CHALLENGE in fair haven family oriented usually lots of boats ( good payouts ) HARBOR CLASSIC in henderson ( 3rd week of may......4-day derby....biggest fish wins in 4 categories ) JON'S lil salmon brown trout derby another in cape vincent around 1st of june pillar point bass/walleye derby and i'm sure there is many more smaller derbies around
