  1. What if one takes yer bait and runs off? How do you know what it is till it gets reeled up?
  2. Will the bass guys be at Dean's Sunday am? Don't they launch at like 5?
  3. Just be mindful of the wind, watch the roll, when it starts to pick up a little move in closer to shore or even the channel. I troll out to 225fow on calm days in my deep V 16 no problem but have some experience with other fisherman in bigger boats also. This helps, I've fished in much larger boats during conditions that I would NEVER venture out in my 16...not worth it Learn which wind direction is best of course offshore winds or light and steady only run out there when you are sure they are conditions you can handle. If there is any doubt...no go man..trailer down to a smaller lake and drop the hammer on em because you can

  7. Yes , some sort of weight or swivel inline will gather what ever weeds slide down the core, ahead of the flouro. I love 10 color core, it was taking LL's all summer on Cayuga last year!!! No problem with fleas as long as you pull a heavier flouro leader..30lbs Seagar flouro good luck man!!!
  8. Got tons of Canadice skunks buddy, she can get cranky too!!
  9. Trailered to Geneva with my new trolling partner Jim. Jim is new to trout fishing and is gaining interest in my obsession, I warned him We launched at the Geneva launch at 6ish, trolled till around 8 staying in that 90-150 for most of the time and really wished I moved up. The graph was loaded with fish from 50-90, all depths , had rips on the copper rig off blue dolphin stinger spoon, did a nice brown off the rigger on an RR sooon 40 down over 60. All the lakers came on the wire dip with purple and black spoons, purple and black disey diver right at 150 on a 3 at all depths!! The noth end is loaded guys next trip the jigging poles are comin out, can't wait No giants but steady action, several short swips at everything kept it fun.AAlot of too small lakers around.. Saw a few boats cruising by if they were board guys saying hello
