    Alex no doubt. It's just really frustrating for me to read a report from a newbie like I was 10years ago to Canandaigua and it's"tough fishing" . GV.spent the money planned a great trip and the fishing sucks. I have read countless reports of late...slow day out there too bad it used to be a tremendous fishery . I migrated there from Hemlock where the catch rates were 1 fish per 4 hours for trout. Canandaigua completely changed that I had limits back in 2005 by 7am. Sounds like something changed that.

    Never used to be tough. What happened? I was a newbie out there in a tin can 12footer back in 2005 and caught limits with wire dipsey rigs and a level hand crank down rigger setup off a 2x4. So explain why it is so bad now? I never see any good reports . Me and FLX used to kill it in there what happened? Very few reports anymore?

    I was moving towards the .44 mag I have dies and a lever action Marlin killed many deer with it. Really like the Ruger alot all great advice alot to think about. But also like to have on to carry anytime just to plink at chipmunks and reds all year great fun. And soon the greys are in season.

    It's all good fun I am sure if it's actually legal. I don't like seeing all the little ones wasted there are other critters to waste on.

    I tied a 5 gallon Lowe's bucket to the rear handel and tossed it in really slowed down the 9.9 I had. If you can get it to center right behind the motor it works perfect

    There are some big Rockies in Canandaigua. My daughter and I caught 5 or 6 on summer morning just in the north end west side 10fow . Great fun for a kid!!
